The Walk is a powerful demonstration of community solidarity that makes the world safer and more just for ALL girls*. Held on International Day of the Girl, October 11th—a day dedicated to recognizing girls' rights and addressing the unique challenges they face worldwide—our walk embodies the global commitment to promoting girls' empowerment and fulfillment of their human rights. When we walk together on this significant day, we join a worldwide movement addressing gender inequality and celebrating girls' achievements and potential here in Washington State and across the country. Your involvement brings us closer to a world where every girl's voice matters and every girl's future is brighter.
